Hello, peculiar people. My name is Renee Anderson and I'm the owner here at Black Manor Grooming. I've been handcrafting beard care products for 5+ years now and can say with full confidence that it's my passion. I'm a very shy, introverted individual, but beard care is a topic I can speak fervently on for hours. 

Most of my adult life, I hid my hobbies and passions. I was scared of the judgment. As a lover of everything dark, spooky, and macabre I always seemed to be the oddball out. I secretly admired oddities from afar, and only celebrated Halloween when it was acceptable. 

A couple years ago I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and that's when my perspective shifted. Not only was I relieved to finally have a diagnosis, but I realized I'm always going to be a little different thanks to my borderline. And you know what? That's okay. Actually, that's awesome. Because at this point, I realized we should embrace and celebrate the things that make our souls sing. Celebrate the things that make us unique. I was tired of hiding how I felt...so, I stopped hiding. 

Fast forward to now and I've never been so comfortable enjoying the things that bring me true happiness. My home is drenched in black, oddities, horror movie props, and Halloween. My favorite activities include attending horror conventions and oddity markets. I celebrate Halloween year round.

In conclusion, Black Manor Grooming is more than just a beard care business. It's a nod to the outcasts, the black sheep, and misfits who are looking for their place in the world. It's a celebration and proof that something wonderful can grow from a dark place. It's a safe space for anyone who needs it.
